From today until 20th December, Nick Knight will be shooting a series of 100 portraits of models, actors, musicians, designers, artists etc. This project marks the 30th anniversary of i-D Magazine (coming up next year) inspired by a similar series Knight shot 25 years ago for the magazine's 5th birthday.
"This mammoth shoot's subjects are an eclectic mix of actors, models, artists, writers, musicians and designers, featuring some of the most adored and celebrated names in each industry. Among those confirmed so far include Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Gareth Pugh, Florence & The Machine and Leona Lewis - whilst a selection of Knight's original 100, including Simon Foxton, Michael Clark and Stephen Jones, will pose once again".
To be part of this experience, visit the live studio at the Somerset House exhibition or log into the SHOWstudio website to see the shoots streamed live. Each of the 100 portraits will be displayed in the exhibition and obviously in i-D's anniversary issue next year.
